A controversial call that has everyone talking! The NFL's decision to overturn Isaiah Likely's touchdown catch in the Ravens' loss to the Steelers has sparked debate and left many fans questioning the rules. But here's where it gets interesting... Likely's catch was initially ruled a touchdown, but a review revealed a crucial detail. According to the NFL, a catch is considered complete when a player performs an "act common to the game," such as extending the ball forward, taking an extra step, or avoiding an opponent. In this case, the officials determined that Likely's third step was not completed, leading to the reversal.

"They made the call, and we have to accept it," Likely said, acknowledging the officials' decision. "I guess I need to work on getting that third foot down."
The Ravens' players, including quarterback Lamar Jackson, believed it was a touchdown. "I thought so too," Jackson said. "It's a catch in the end zone, and their player kept punching at the ball. That's all I saw."
